In 2001, a visionary by the name of Mario Lamarche takes the reins as CEO of the Dissan Group. He has the ambitious mission to rapidly expand the Group and give independent sanitary product distributors across Canada the benefit of increased purchasing power. Thanks to a series of pioneering developments, the Dissan Group has since achieved spectacular growth. In a constantly evolving industry, there’s only one rule: innovate or die! In 2008, we embark on a new chapter in our history with the launch of our first national brand, INO Solutions. Acquisition of Compagnie d’Équipement Sanitaire (CES)
The Dissan Group acquires Compagnie d’Équipement Sanitaire (CES), representing a key phase of our expansion into the Greater Montreal area.
Launch of the INSTINCT brand
Once again, the Dissan Group breaks new ground with the launch of the INSTINCT brand of products.

We launch the INSTINCT SF brand, offering a range of professional cleaning products at highly competitive prices. The focus of this brand is providing affordable products to meet the needs of budget-conscious end-users.
The Dissan Group acquires the sanitation product division of Montreal-based Eco-Logixx. This acquisition enhances distribution services in the BSC and foodservice sectors.
In 2016, the Dissan Group sets a new milestone with two strategic acquisitions in the same year—Produits Sanitaires Yves Nadon and Produits Sanitaires Bélisle et Carrière—strengthening our presence in the Laurentians region.
The Dissan Group reaches new heights in 2017, earning a spot among Canada’s Best Managed Companies. This recognition is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to development, innovation, and upholding the highest standards of management excellence.
The Dissan Group acquires ONYS Québec and ONYS Laval, both recognized leaders in the industrial equipment distribution sector. This acquisition allows us to strengthen our position in the industrial equipment sales market and consolidate our expertise in the field. Thanks to this collaboration, we are able to offer our customers innovative solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Acquisition of Cobol Industries
In 2021, we complete the strategic acquisition of Cobol Industries, strengthening our leadership position in the Greater Montreal market. This merger effectively combines the strengths of Cobol Industries and our SaniDépôt corporate division, consolidating our presence in the region.
The Dissan Group unveils its 2022-2025 national strategic action plan, which will chart the next phase of our evolution.
The year 2023 is marked by the merger of MCS Sanitation, one of New Brunswick’s largest sanitary products distributors, thereby reinforcing our activities in the Maritimes. With five strategic locations, this merger strengthens the partnership, and the resulting greater operational synergy will allow us to better meet the needs of end-user customers.
